With over 240 attendees at the CTR Workshop on Translational Research and Technology Innovation for PFAS Decontaminations, no doubt this was a huge success. Sponsors and Participants held discussions and showcased their work at the NJIT campus, which drew a large crowd to collaborate and share their ideas. Speakers like Senator Linda R. Greenstein, Assemblywoman Lisa Swain, Peter Jaffe, Arjun Venkatesan, and many others brought excitement, energy, and the possibility of making an impact on PFAS health, academic translational research, and technology development towards commercialization. Presenters brought strategic ideas on PFAS advocacy, communication, and testing programs for clean water in New Jersey. These workshop attendees engaged with other distinguished speakers to learn more about programs addressing PFAS challenges and effective strategies for clean water.
