WQRF is soliciting proposals to develop a case study that demonstrates and documents a practical, regulator-approved pathway that enables small and very small public water systems (PWS) to achieve Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) compliance using certified point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) water treatment technologies. The project goal is to demonstrate that a complete compliance pathway can be implemented and accepted for SDWA compliance. The intended impact of this research is to create a practical, repeatable framework that enables regulators, engineers, and small PWS nationwide to more confidently and consistently use certified POU/POE treatment technologies as a viable SDWA compliance pathway.
