New NJ PFAS-PIC Consortium Launches to Accelerate PFAS Innovation, with PFASolve as Founding Member

PFASolve is proud to announce its participation as a founding member of the New Jersey NJ PFAS-PIC (Partnership Innovation Consortium) , a first-of-its-kind collaboration, launched out of the New Jersey Institute of Technology - Center for Translational Research, bringing together leading universities, water utilities, corporations, researchers, and environmental professionals dedicated to addressing the growing challenges posed by PFAS contamination. We also want to recognize Atam Dhawan for bringing this group together out his own commitment to societal change through scientific advancements.

The consortium was established to accelerate innovation and collaboration in the detection, capture, treatment, and destruction of PFAS compounds. Through shared research, technology development, pilot programs, education, and industry partnerships, NJ PFAS-PIC is creating a model for how diverse stakeholders can work together to tackle one of the most pressing environmental and public health issues of our time.
PFASolve is honored to contribute its expertise and leadership to this important initiative. The company is also pleased to announce that CEO and Co-Founder Charmi Chande has been appointed to serve on the consortium's inaugural Board of Directors, joining a distinguished group of leaders from academia, industry, water utilities, government, and environmental organizations.

"PFAS contamination is a challenge that no single organization can solve alone," said Charmi Chande, our CEO and Co-Founder. "I am incredibly proud of PFASolve's role in helping advance solutions alongside leading innovators, researchers, utilities, and industry partners. By combining scientific expertise, practical implementation experience, and a shared commitment to protecting public health, we can accelerate meaningful progress in addressing PFAS-related challenges for communities across New Jersey and beyond."

NJ PFAS-PIC (Partnership Innovation Consortium) represents a powerful example of how collaboration can drive innovation and create scalable solutions for clean water and environmental stewardship. As PFAS regulations continue to evolve and public awareness grows, the consortium's work will play an important role in helping organizations better understand, manage, and ultimately eliminate PFAS risks.
